TWO PERFORMANCES DAILY
COMPLETE CAST OF PRINCIPALS
D. W. Griffith announces that great pains have been taken to make the costumes, settings, incidents and characters from history absolutely correct. While many of the characters particularly those of the women, may seem strange today, they are proper duplications of costumes of the period. Thanks are due Louis Allard, Litt. D., professor of French Literature at Harvard University. Authorities -- Taine, Guizot, Abbott and in particular Thomas Carlyle, in his History of the French Revolution. This production is the most costly of all Mr. Griffith's efforts -- both in money and time. This should mean nothing, Mr. Griffith contends, as long as it pleases the public.
