EDITORIALS FREE SWIMS FOR THE J.S.L. Thru the courtesy of Mr. Frank Thielen, President of the Central States Fair & Exposition, all members of the Junior Safety Legion will be admitted to the great $100,000 Swimming Pool FREE of charge on Monday, July 28th, between the hours of 9 A.M and 4 P.M., providing members bring their own bathing suits and towel. In the event you have no bathing suit and towel, the Swimming Pool Management will rent you one for 10 cents, which is just about the cost to launder same. Arrangemen's (sic) have been made with J. D. Mulden, of the Boy's Department of the Y. M. C. A., to furnish several of his best swimming instructors and life guards for this occasion at Exposition Park. The Exposition Pool is the largest artificial swimming tank in the West. It contains almost 2,000,000 gallons of water which is kept constantly purified by means of two giant filters and chloride gas tanks. Parents may accompany their children, however, and will be charged regular prices of admission. All J. S. L. members will be admitted free upon presentation of their latest button or pledge card at the pool entrance. J. S. L. LIFE-SAVERS on the JOB All over Aurora, the J. S. L. Life-Savers are doing good work, warning and helping young children to"Watch their step." Keep up the good work. Life-Savers, the prizes are worth having and the deeds worth doing.
