DIRECTED By WILLIAM BEAUDINE
BASED ON THE PLAY By W. SOMERSET MAUGHAM
ADAPTATION By ARTHUR STRINGER
SCREEN PLAY By J. CLARKSON MILLER

It is a strong drama of teh virile people of the Canadian wheat fields, where a shift in the wind means the difference between wealth and ruin; of an aristocratic English woman who as tossed among the stern realities of life and is conquered by a man to whom polish means nothing. It is an intimate story played on the broad, sweeping background of the Northwest. In its grim menace, steadfast purpost of its people, their faith and their unconquerable optimism, there is some of the epic quality of "The Covered Wagon."
