LATEST FASHIONS ARE SHOWN IN NEW MARION DAVIES PICTURE Looking at the latest fashions and selecting several gowns at the same time as she was making a scene for her new picture was the pleasant task assigned Marion Davies recently while making her Paramount-Cosmopolitan picture, "Adam and Eva" to be shown here next week. Is Wealth Girl As a wealthy society girl. Miss Davies goes shopping and beautiful models, who might well grace a Ziegfeld chorus parade, display the most stunning new modes. Most of the models are regularly employed in that capacity in smart Fifth Avenue stores and they thoroughly enjoyed their excursion into Movieland. Miss Davies was so pleased with a couple of the gowns worn that she bought them as soon as the scene was completed. "Adam and Eva" was adapted to the screen from the successful stage comedy written (Continued on page 4) BIG CONCERT NOW BEING PLANNED FOR EASTER SUNDAY NIGHT Full Symphony Orchestra Of Fifty Pieces Will Render Classical Selections Plans are being made now by Thomas D. Soriero, general manager of the Whitehurst Theatrical Enterprises, to hold a concert at the Century Theater on Easter Sunday night at 8.15 o'clock. "There have been so many requests for classical selections in the Century, especially from the Grand Operas, and I have found that the people of Baltimore like high class music so much, that I want to give them a real concert with the best musicians selected from the orchestras at the Whitehurst theatres," said Mr. Soriero recently. To Have Fifty Pieces There will be a full syphony orchestra of fifty pieces and the various selections will be played under the direction of Frank R. Rehsen, conductor of the Century Symphony Orchestra, who is nationally known as a musician. The whole affair is to be given under the personal direction of Mr. Soriero, who wants Baltimoreans to see that it is not necessary to go out of town to hear good music for it is always to be heard at the Whitehurst theatres, played by the same musicians who will give the concert. The program will include vocal and instrumental solos. HAMILTON WITH HER IN NEXT PRODUCTION AGNES AYRES Mahlon Hamilton, who recently arrived in New York from the West Coast, has been signed to play opposite Agnes Ayres in "The Love Chase," an adaptation of Harry Durant's original story by Jack Cunningham which Wesley Ruggles is soon to put into production at the Paramount eastern studio.

CENTURY NEWS AND PROGRAM "MAD LOVE" SUNDAES WILL BE THE RAGE DURING THIS WEEK It will probably surprise many persons to know that European chefs lead the world in the mysterious arts of iced confections. But even they are frequently eclipsed by the leaders of the nobility, whose skill is uncanny in combining flavors to delight the palate. Pola Negri, Charlie Chaplin's fiancee, who is starring in "Mad Love," at this theatre this week, has sent her favorite recipe for an iced confection to the Hendler Creamery, of this city. Through special arrangements, "Mad Love" sundaes made according to Mlle. Negri's own recipe, will be served at all Hendler ice cream dealers. This recipe makes one of the most delightful sundaes ever concocted, according to Mr. Hendler, who has tested it. In order to take care of the demand that will probably develop when the knowledge of this fact spreads, all the facilities of the Hendler plant will be brought into play to take care of the orders. HAS STRONG CAST IN HER NEXT PICTURE Marion Davies Marion Davies has a strong supporting case in her latest Paramount-Cosmopolitan production, "Adam and Eva," which will be shown at this theatre next week. T. Roy Barnes is leading man. Tom Lewis, William Norris, Percy Ames, Leon Gordon, Luella Gear and William Davidson are in the case. Robert G. Vignola, director of "When Knighthood Was in Flower," also directed "Adam and Eva." ALMA RUBENS HAS LEADING ROLE IN NEW IBANEZ FILM In Cosmopolitan Productions new supre feature, a picturization of Vicente Blasco Ibanez's great romance, "The Enemies of Women, Alma Rubens is seen in a role altogether different from any she has ever interpreted on the screen. The whimsical heroine of "Humoresque" appears in "The Enemies of Women" an exotic Russian noblewoman, noted throughout Europe for her beauty and her escapades.
MARION DAVIES FILM SHOWS LATEST STYLES by Guy Bolton and George Middleton An elaborate Venetian fete, at which the guests wear the most fantastic and icturesque costumes, is given by "Eva" (played by Miss Davies) and her sisters. Miss Davies appears as a seventeenth century maiden in the most stunning costume, made of cloth of silver heavily embroadered in silken designs and precious stones -- brilliants, sapphires and rubies.
